[TUTORIAL] How to use the button on BlackVue dashcam?

​With the sleek design of current BlackVue dashcams, there's only one button on the right side of the unit. 

Please take note that the functionionality of this button may differs on different BlackVue dashcam models.

​1) RESET WIFI SSID and PASSWORD
If you had changed the default WiFi SSID or password earlier but unable to remember, you could reset it back to the default ones. Here is the procedure:

2) FORMAT SD CARD
It is recommended to format the SD card once a month or when the dashcam prompt voice message for SD card error.
One quick way to format the SD card:

Note: If the error for SD card still persists, please remove the memory card and format using the BlackVue Viewer Software instead. Full procedure is available here.

NOTE:

1) If you prefer the WiFi or MIC to be in default ON/ OFF state upon power ON, please access the settings of the dashcam through BlackVue App or BlackVue Viewer Software.
(Button for WiFi and Mic ON/ OFF control is for temporary purpose as it will reset to the default state upon power reset. Depending on the settings for WiFi control, it may auto switch OFF if no activity for 5 minutes)

2) WiFi will be always in ON state if the Cloud service is switched ON for DR750S and DR900S series. To change the WiFi to default OFF state, please switch OFF the Cloud service at first. 

3) Please backup your important video to other storage before formatting the SD card.
