Problem with BlackVue App for Android OS (V8.1 and above)

With recent update for Android OS firmware (V8.10 and above) and BlackVue App V2.84, we found the following problem when using the BlackVue App. 

1) Unable to connect to the dashcam using the direct-WiFi 
​2) App keeps crashing once access the BlackVue Cloud option on the main page 

We had found the solution for item 1) above. 
Please follow the procedures here:
1) Phone Settings > Connections > Locations ON

2) i) Phone Settings > ii) Apps > iii) BlackVue App > iv) Permissions > Locations > ON

As for the issue for item 2) BlackVue App keeps crashing when selecting the BlackVue Cloud from main menu, please try to reinstall the BlackVue App after the above settings. .
