A thief breaks into car in broad daylight #caughtonblackvue

A BlackVue user found that his car window was broken. After reviewing the recorded video, it was actually a break in by a thief.

Vehicle break-in

A car approached from the rear of the victim's car. One of the men with a hoodie and a mask got out and broke the right side window with an emergency window breaker. Holding a gun, he climbed in and looking for any valuables inside. Unfortunately, he only managed to steal two dollars in cash and a few packets of barbecue sauce before escaping.

Interior dashcam with ultra-wide view angle records everything clearly. 

The whole incident was recorded on the victim's BlackVue DR770X Box dashcam, which is a triple-channel dashcam that records the front, back and interior of the car. The interior camera with an ultra-wide 180-degree view angle managed to record the act clearly as it covers even the side windows. With infra-red LEDs built-in, it can record even in a pitch-dark condition.

The authorities were immediately notified of the crime which led to a high speed police chase resulting in a crash. The suspects then fled on foot.
