3) How much time is needed for installation? Typically within an hour for single-channel dashcam (front only) and one and half hours for dual-channel dashcam (front and back).
4) How to enjoy the extended warranty of 18 months for the BlackVue dashcams and Cellink batteries? The standard warranty for the dashcams and batteries is 12 months. To enjoy the 6 months extended warranty (total 18 months), please register the product online here >
5) Do I need to subscribe for the BlackVue Cloud service? BlackVue Cloud service is free since it was established in 2015 but you need to prepare your own data SIM card. Furthermore, it is very popular nowadays since many telcos are offering affordable price for data subscriptions, for example TPG Mobile. Learn more about BlackVue Cloud service here >
6) I love the features and performance of Cloud dashcams. Can I use the Cloud dashcams without the Cloud service? Yes. DR970X BOX Plus, DR970X and DR770X Cloud dashcams require external mobile hotspot or LTE module for Cloud connectivity. If you don't require Cloud connectivity, you can use the dashcam as it is without any optional accessories. DR970X-2CH LTE Plus and DR770X-2CH LTE comes with built-in 4G. It simplifies the setup for Cloud connectivity by inserting the SIM card to the dashcam.
