2018 was a busy year for BlackVue, that saw a constant flow of new features enhancing its dashcams. In this article, we are not talking about stability improvements or minor bug fixes but actual new functionalities added to existing dashcam models after launch. In case of the DR750S Series, if you got your dashcam upon release in August 2018 and did not update its firmware, you would have a lot to discover.

The latest firmware updates for DR750S and DR900S Series introduce new Cloud features that improve the user experience significantly. One of the new features is Quick View Notifications, which makes Event notifications more interactive.
Cloud FOTA upgrade is now available for DR900S and DR750S models, introducing an easy way to upgrade your firmware remotely.
This means you will be able to update your dashcam over the Cloud starting from the next firmware version.
New firmware is available for the DR750S (1.013) and DR900S (1.008) Series, introducing Over-the-Cloud firmware upgrades and Quick View Notifications in case of Events.
Not using BlackVue Over the Cloud? We still recommend upgrading as these updates also include a new Write Error Detection feature.
New firmware is available for the DR590W Series (version 1.003) and DR590 Series (version 1.006) dashcams.
