The DR770X Box-3CH Pro features three Full HD cameras: a front camera recording at 60fps for ultra-smooth footage, and rear and inward-facing cameras at 30fps. The inward-facing camera offers two options: an AI-powered Driver Monitoring System (DMS) to detect distraction and drowsiness, or an ultra-wide 180-degree angle for comprehensive interior coverage. The rear camera is designed for standard in-cabin installation, with an optional waterproof version for trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. The system includes a discreet, lock-protected Box recording unit, supporting native Parking Mode via the included hardwiring cable. For added security, the wireless SOS button allows you to trigger manual event recordings. Enjoy seamless BlackVue Cloud connectivity through a Wi-Fi hotspot or the optional USB LTE module for remote access.

The infrared Driver-Monitoring System (DMS) Camera is designed to improve driver’s safety by helping prevent risky behaviors. The DMS Camera monitors the driver at all times. Its algorithm can detect statuses such as:

• Driver absence: Event recording and push notifications
• Distraction*: in-vehicle alerts, Event recording and push notifications
• Drowsiness**: in-vehicle alerts, Event recording and push notifications
• Seatbelt missing: in-vehicle alerts, Event recording and push notifications

As soon as the DMS camera detects a status, the front camera’s speaker emits a beep and spoken message to alert the driver. Meanwhile push notifications are sent to the owner if the camera is connected to the Cloud. 
The RC1-DMS also records clear videos of the vehicle’s interior, including in Parking Mode.

(*) Distraction status triggers only when the GPS receives a signal and the detected speed is above 30km/h or 18.6mph.

​Store the box unit in a cool location.With standard dash cams, the main processor is located in the front camera, typically exposed to the sun. 
In the DR970X Box Series dash cams, the processor is located in the box unit, which can be installed in a cooler location of your vehicle.

Unlike conventional dash cams where the microSD card is located in the front camera, the "Box" recording unit can be installed in a secure and/or hidden location of the vehicle, such as the glove compartment, under a seat or anywhere else out of sight. 
Smaller front cameraThe front camera is 35% shorter and more compact than a regular front camera. This minimizes the likelihood of being spotted by a potential robber. 
This means in the event of a break-in, a thief would have a harder time either spotting the cameras or finding the Box unit that contains the videos

The CM100G LTE provides easy 4G LTE connectivity to enable BlackVue Cloud features. All you need is a valid Nano SIM card. The CM100G LTE is powered and connects via the USB port of your dashcam.

Unlock Mobile Hotspot Function
Turn your BlackVue into a mobile internet router for up to five devices concurrently. This means you and your passengers can now use your BlackVue’s internet on your laptop, portable game console, tablet or mobile.
To connect to the BlackVue, simply open your devices’ Wi-Fi menu, select the BlackVue and enter the dashcam’s Wi-Fi password.

Your dash cam tells you when it turns on, shuts down or detects errors.

Accelerometer (in the front camera):
Detects impacts to trigger Event recording. Enables Parking Mode* when stationary for 5 minutes.

Automatically tags video files:
While driving, the accelerometer (G-sensor) detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, your BlackVue also detects visual movements around your vehicles (in Motion + Impact detection mode).

Use the filters in the BlackVue App and Viewer:
BlackVue tags all videos (Normal, Event, Parking Mode, etc.), so that you can filter them and quickly find the ones you need in the BlackVue Viewer (Windows, Mac OS, Web) or the BlackVue App (Android, iOS).

Event Files Overwrite Protection: 
dashcams record in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory is full. BlackVue can prevent Event files (triggered manually or by impacts) overwriting. Up to fifty (50) files can be protected this way. You can choose to allow new Event files to overwrite past Event files, thus keeping the latest fifty.
Adaptive Format-Free File Management: 
this BlackVue-developed file system improves recording stability and requires less microSD card formatting.
SD Card Failure Alert:

​With included hardwiring kit or optional Cellink batteries, you can rest easy, knowing that your car is being monitored while you are away.
BlackVue automatically switches to Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle. ​ 
​Thanks to video buffer, the few seconds leading to triggering events are also recorded.​

​Upon exiting Parking Mode, your BlackVue tells you if Events were recorded when you were away from your car, so you can check right away the Event videos on the BlackVue App.

Push Notification:
​If your dashcam is connected to the Cloud Service, you will receive instant push notification to your smartphone if there's an impact detected when you're away from your car. ​

Super stealthy:
Compact cameras are not easy to spot.

Scheduled Reboot:
​Schedule a daily automatic reboot (optional—at night by default ) to minimize potential errors. Reboots happen only if the dashcam is in Parking Mode and not writing data to the microSD card.
