3-axis G-Sensors
BlackVue is equipped with 3-axis G-sensors to record the direction of force or impact. Beside the clear video quality, this feature will enhance the evidence in your accident report. With the individual graph for G-sensor, each direction of impact can be seen clearly. |

AUTO Parking Mode
|
Black Vue has a unique AUTO Parking Mode that sets it apart from other competitor products. When no motion detected within 10 minutes, it will switch to Parking Mode. When motion and vibration been detected continuously for 30 seconds, it will switch back to Normal mode automatically.
Black Vue will be able to use the memory space more efficiently during parking. No more unnecessary video files, Black Vue only records when motion or impact been detected at a smooth 30 frame per second! Note: 1) During Parking Mode, Black Vue is recording to the internal buffer memory instead of to the memory card. When the G sensors detected an impact or motion been detected, it will trigger the "parking" recording which will write to the memory card everything that happened in front of the camera 30 seconds before and after the event. 2) Video shows manual trigger to parking mode by pressing the side button, When you set Parking Mode to Auto On (by default), switching between Parking and Normal mode will be done automatically without any hassle. |

3) For parking mode to work effectively, Black Vue needs to be connected with permanent power source and Power Magic option is recommended.

Patented motion detection technology This video recording was activated due to motion been detected. If you watch the center pole closely, it is swaying slightly due to strong wind (at 12th seconds playback time). Even with such a little movement, Black Vue is able to detect it! Sensitivity adjustment
3 axis G sensors
Black Vue equipped with 3 axis G sensors measuring the impact from front/back, left/right and up/down directions of the vehicle.
If there is any impact in any axis that surpassed the set threshold, the recorded file will be marked as "event " file hence all the suspected files can be searched easily from the memory card.
With separate sensitivity adjustment for EACH axis of G sensors, user can set the requirement to suit individual needs. Every vehicle, driver's habit and daily route differs, hence user can playback the recorded files and adjust the sensitivity accordingly in the advanced setting.
Moreover, there is a seperate sensitivity adjustment for normal and parking mode. User can set higher sensitivity for parking mode, hence slight impact to your vehicle during parking will trigger the "event" recording.
Motion Detection
User can also adjust the sensitivity for the motion detection.

Brightness Adjustment
With new firmware V2.020 and onwards, user can set effectively the Brightness requirement of the recording.
For example, if your car is frequently park in darker environment at car park, you can set the brightness to ensure brighter recording results.
The images show the difference of the recorded images with Normal and Medium Brightness setting.

Voice Guidance and LEDs
Black Vue™ has Voice Guide feature which inform user the status of the recorder by voice instructions from the pre-recorded messages. This includes: 1) Power Up - "Black Vue for your safe driving, now starts normal recording...." 2) Shut down - "Black Vue is shutting down...." 3) Parking mode - "Parking mode enable" and "Parking mode disable" 4) Memory card - "No SD card, please insert the SD card" 5) and more..... With voice guidance, it is easier to understand and more user friendly. Moreover, there is LED indicator with different colors for status and recording modes. The blue ring LED can be switched ON/ OFF by software setting. Switch it OFF for total surveillance mode or switch it ON as to deter away vandals. On the other hand, the glow of the blue LED looks cool in any vehicle. |
